I did a quick sketch pencil of a super fluffy gryph head while studying a few days ago and decided to scan it in and color it! :3

And I noticed that whenever I do some "generic nondescript gryphon" thing, it almost always ends up looking the same. Dark brown dorsal, light tan ventral, green eyes, yadda yadda Dx So I tried to make a few more color variations. Nothing too exciting, but weirdly enough, I like them all! :lol: 'Specially the gray one.

Pardon the craptastic shading, but I mostly wanted to get the main color schemes across.

They are all very nice, but I think my favorite is the dark brown and the yellowish one.

these are excellent you really have the bird of prey gryphon head down VERY well. Those eyes just beam raptor ^^. I wonder do you do any other style gryphons? (I mean the unconventional matches of bird and feline)

I can draw unconventional gryphs, but I haven't done so for a very long time.. ^^; I think the only one that I've actually uploaded is a hummingbird gryphon somewhere in my gallery and that one's ancient. =P
